Housing Authority & Multifamily Pilot Programs
Clean Heat Rhode Island is expanding opportunities to bring energy-efficient heat pump technology to multifamily and affordable housing properties across Rhode Island.

Successful Pilot Example
In partnership with Providence Housing Authority, we recently completed Rhode Island’s first affordable housing window heat pump project at Carroll Tower, installing 277 high-efficiency window heat pumps across 194 apartments. This project demonstrated how modern heating and cooling technology can be integrated into existing multifamily buildings to improve resident comfort while reducing energy costs and emissions.
