Due to the overwhelming popularity and success of the Clean Heat Rhode Island Commercial Rebate Program, we have allocated all of the funds reserved for Commercial projects. Effective today, December 6, 2024, the commercial application portal is now closed to new applications.
This program has provided substantial support to businesses across Rhode Island, helping organizations save money and reduce their environmental impact. Some key outcomes of the program include:
- 80+ organizations have worked with our commercial specialists to plan and implement energy efficiency projects.
- We have issued a total of $2,830,235 in incentives to business owners
- These changes are helping Rhode Island avoid 49,913 lifetime tons of CO2*, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
- *This number will be updated as we receive updated CO2 savings from outstanding calculations.
Important Deadlines:
If you or your customer currently have applications that have been pre-approved, please be aware of the following deadlines:
- Applications pre-approved prior to December 6 have until April 4, 2025 to submit Part 2.
- Applications in a Need Info status will have until January 3rd to provide the necessary documentation. If we do not receive and approve the required information by this date, the application will be withdrawn.
- Applicants will need to submit their Quality Assurance forms within three weeks of submitting Part 2 of their application.
